Lightwire Theater: The Adventures of Tortoise and Hare: The Next Gen

Lightwire Theater presents a technology-driven continuation of Aesop’s fable in which Tortoise and Hare are now parents, 10 years after their famous race. Their children, Tortoise Junior and Lil’ Hare, become absorbed in smartphones, video games, and other modern distractions, leading them into unexpected adventures. When the children need help, Old Man Tortoise and Big Daddy Hare must put aside their differences and work together to find and rescue them.

Performed in complete darkness, the production uses glowing electroluminescent artistry, striking visual effects, storytelling, and music ranging from classical to pop. Lightwire Theater is internationally recognized and has appeared as a semifinalist on NBC’s *America’s Got Talent* and won TruTV’s *Fake Off*.
