Pigeons Playing Ping Pong
Pigeons Playing Ping Pong brings its psychedelic funk sound to 9:30 Club, featuring music from its eighth studio album, *Feed The Fire*. The Baltimore quartet—known for evolving arrangements, high-energy performances, and a close connection with its fan community—continues its sixteen-year musical journey with a set shaped by funk, psychedelic rock, adventurous collaboration, and danceable grooves.
Dizgo opens the show. The Bloomington, Indiana, quartet combines jamtronica, funk, soul, psychedelic rock, analog synths, extended improvisation, and explosive guitar work. Formed from attic jam sessions between childhood friends Andrew Pickel and Kevin Hinnefeld, Dizgo has performed at festivals including Peach Music Festival, Summer Camp, Secret Dreams, Domefest, and Sonic Bloom, and has toured with acts such as Goose, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, lespecial, Dogs in a Pile, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.
