Apericena – Savoring Italy: Lombardia is an evening exploration of Lombardy’s distinctive culture and culinary heritage. The program combines a cultural presentation on the region’s history, art, anthropology, gastronomy, and food traditions with typical regional dishes and wine served in an informal light-dinner format.
Part of the Italian Cultural Society of Washington, D.C.’s Apericena series, the event builds on the society’s “Aperitivo – Conversando in Italiano!” program and invites guests to discover the diverse regions of Italy through their food, wine, and cultural traditions.
