ANNUAL ASDF/BAILA4LIFE LATIN DANCE COMPETITION

The annual After School Dance Fund/Baila4Life Latin Dance Competition returns to the Music Center at Strathmore with support from Montgomery County Public Schools. The event features Montgomery County’s elite high school Latin dance students competing in Senior and Junior divisions.

Founded in 2010 at Strathmore, the competition grew from a Latin dance program established at Seneca Valley High School in 1999. Its goals include supporting students’ social and emotional well-being, encouraging health and exercise, and building unity through Latin dance education. Competitors present choreography in a range of partner, solo-selection, parent-student, and group categories.

When: The Senior Division is Monday, November 23, 2026. The Junior Division is Tuesday, March 9, 2027.

Showtimes: Both divisions begin at 7 p.m.

Tickets: $16 in advance or $26 at the door.

On-Sale Date: Tickets become available November 2.

Divisions: Senior and Junior.

Competition Categories: Salsa, cha-cha, merengue, bachata, Jack and Jill, Duets/Partner, Parent/Student, and Best in Show for groups.

Venue: The Music Center at Strathmore.
