Arena Stage 2026/27 Season – ACT I (Full Season Subscription)
ARENA STAGE'S 2026/27 SEASON IS OFFERED IN TWO DISTINCT ACTS, AND THIS SUBSCRIPTION—ACT I—COVERS THE FALL/WINTER LINEUP OF FOUR PRODUCTIONS. SUBSCRIBERS CAN CHOOSE TO PURCHASE ACT I ALONE OR COMMIT TO THE FULL SEVEN-SHOW SEASON (BOTH ACTS) TO MAXIMIZE SAVINGS AND SECURE THE BEST AVAILABLE SEATS. THE PACKAGE ALSO INCLUDES THE OPTION TO ADD THE FAMILY-FRIENDLY HOLIDAY SHOW, STEP AFRIKA!'S MAGICAL MUSICAL HOLIDAY STEP SHOW, AT A DISCOUNTED RATE. WITH FLEXIBLE PAYMENT PLANS, FREE TICKET EXCHANGES, AND ADDITIONAL PERKS, THIS SUBSCRIPTION PROVIDES A STREAMLINED AND COST-EFFECTIVE WAY TO EXPERIENCE ARENA STAGE'S DIVERSE 2026/27 SEASON.
When: The ACT I subscription covers performances from September 10, 2026 through March 28, 2027, spanning four productions with staggered run dates. The holiday add-on runs December 4–23, 2026.
Tickets: Subscription pricing starts at an unlisted base rate; full-season save up to $200 off single-ticket prices (equivalent to more than one free show), and ACT I–only subscribers save up to $160. Payment plans are available with no additional cost, and all payments must be completed by September 1, 2026. The add-on holiday show is $55 for subscribers. Current subscribers must renew by July 7, 2026 to guarantee the same seats. An early-bird discount of 15% off the ACT II package price is available for those who book the full seven-show season before July 7, 2026.
Lineup: ACT I includes four mainstage productions:
- *The Fruits of Our Labor* (September 10 – November 1, 2026, Fichandler Stage) – a rhythmic, percussive exploration of patriotism and America’s 250th anniversary by Step Afrika!, directed by Jakari Sherman with Conrad R. Kelly II and Vusi Mdoyi.
- *Nikola – A New Musical* (October 2 – November 29, 2026, Kreeger Theater) – a musical chronicling Nikola Tesla’s rise and rivalry with Thomas Edison, with book and lyrics by Benjamin Halstead and Nikko Benson, music by Nikko Benson, choreography by Katie Spelman, and direction by Marshall Pailet.
- *Prima Facie* (November 13, 2026 – January 17, 2027, Arlene and Robert Kogod Cradle) – Suzie Miller’s award-winning one-woman play about a criminal defense attorney forced to confront the justice system’s failures after she is assaulted.
- *Purpose* (February 5 – March 28, 2027, Fichandler Stage) – Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ Pulitzer Prize– and Tony Award–winning play about a Black political dynasty unraveling during a single overnight visit.
The optional add-on is *Step Afrika!’s Magical Musical Holiday Step Show* (December 4–23, 2026, Fichandler Stage), a family-friendly stepping and music production with DJ Nutcracker.
