Salin

Salin is a Thai-born, Canada-based drummer, Juno-nominated producer, and composer who combines the traditional sounds of Northeast Thailand with West African psychedelic influences and contemporary soulful production. She calls this distinctive style “Afro Isan Soul,” using its international funk and world-jazz vocabulary to explore identity, spirituality, and humanity while keeping the music playful and inviting.

Her recent work includes appearances on Chanel’s summer tour in Bangkok, the Winter Jazz Festival, and headline shows across the United States, including a sold-out performance at Los Angeles’ Lodge Room and an opening set for Yussef Dayes in Central Park. Her album *Rammana*, made with Thai and Canadian musicians, brings together musical elements from East and West and has earned broad acclaim. Salin has also appeared on BBC 6 Music and delivered a KEXP live performance, with a forthcoming Maida Vale recording and European tour further highlighting her growing presence in modern world jazz.
