HANUKKAH SPECTACULAR

Hanukkah Spectacular is a comedy about four Jewish theatre artists working over a long weekend in a Midtown talent agency’s conference room. They are tasked with developing a commercially successful Hanukkah holiday show, but creative pressure, clashing personalities, unresolved tensions, and personal crises threaten to derail the project. The play explores ambition, identity, family, collaboration, and the ways people shape—and sometimes lose control of—the stories they tell about themselves.

Written by Max Posner and directed by David Cromer, the production follows the artists as the boundary between their real identities and the roles they are creating becomes increasingly blurred. The event includes strong language and references to sexual situations, mental health crises, suicide, war, and violence.
