Ballet Classes for Kids

Ballet Classes for Kids at Maryland Youth Ballet introduce children to dance through age-appropriate movement, music, storytelling, and creative exploration. The program includes Early Dance classes beginning at age 2, as well as Introductory Ballet classes that introduce foundational ballet technique with live musical accompaniment.

Early Dance helps children develop body awareness, discover creative expression, and explore the basic principles of dance. Introductory Ballet continues that exploration while beginning early classical ballet training. The school invites families to enroll in its children’s programs.
