Hell’s Kitchen
Hell’s Kitchen is a musical inspired by Alicia Keys’ life, music, and New York community. It follows Ali, a passionate 17-year-old seeking independence, love, purpose, and a clearer sense of who she is. Her journey brings her into contact with a transformative musical mentor, a dynamic family, and the neighborhood that helps shape her. The story explores self-discovery, ambition, rebellion, family, and the people who encourage us to grow.
The score combines Alicia Keys’ best-known songs with new music written specifically for the production. The show is presented with energetic choreography and has been praised by critics as an exhilarating, emotionally powerful theatrical experience.

Creative team: The musical is directed by Michael Greif, a four-time Tony Award nominee known for Rent, Dear Evan Hansen, and The Notebook. Choreography is by four-time Tony Award nominee Camille A. Brown, with a book by Pulitzer Prize finalist Kristoffer Diaz and music by Alicia Keys.
Cast: The listed performers include Maya Drake as Ali, making her professional debut after training with Children’s Musical Theater San Jose; Kennedy Caughell as Jersey, whose credits include Broadway’s Paradise Square, Beautiful, and Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812, as well as Wicked, Frozen, and Waitress; Desmond Sean Ellington as Davis, following Broadway appearances in Hell’s Kitchen and Hamilton; Roz White as Miss Liza Jane, a Helen Hayes Award-winning performer and former member of the national tour of TINA—The Tina Turner Musical; and JonAvery Worrell as Knuck, whose screen credits include BMF and other television and film projects.
