Tom Borrow, a 2024 BBC New Generation artist and La Salle Bank Young Artist, makes his Washington Performing Arts debut in the Hayes Piano Series at the Hopkins Bloomberg Center Theater. Praised by *Pianist Magazine* as “one of the greats of tomorrow” and by *International Piano* as “the very definition of ‘one to watch,’” the Israeli pianist presents a program that opens with Mozart’s somber Sonata No. 8 in A minor, K. 310. He then moves to Liszt’s virtuosic *Reminiscences de Don Juan*, a spirited celebration of one of Mozart’s most memorable characters. The recital concludes with two ethereal Chopin works: the late masterpiece Polonaise-Fantaisie and the fiendishly difficult Sonata No. 3.
