Dayramir González- Recording Release - Cuban Piano Jazz Series

Dayramir González Quartet brings Havana-born pianist Dayramir González to Blues Alley for an Afro-Cuban jazz performance in the Cuban Piano Jazz Series. A Yamaha Artist celebrated for his formidable technique, González draws on West African Yoruba traditions, European classical training, and contemporary American jazz. His work ranges from electronic-infused material, including his 2024 release *V.I.D.A.*, to the refined Cuban danzón tradition.

The performance is co-presented with the Embassy of Cuba and highlights González as a bridge between generations of Cuban and Latin jazz, following in the tradition of pianists such as Bebo Valdés, Chucho Valdés, and Gonzalo Rubalcaba.
