Jive Turkey & Friends

Jive Turkey brings its fast-paced, smart long-form improv to the DC Improv’s intimate 60-seat lounge showroom. The longtime Washington troupe will be joined by special guest David Razowsky and additional guest troupes for a showcase built around spontaneous scenes and ensemble play.

Founded in 2008, Jive Turkey is one of DC’s oldest independent long-form improv groups. Its members, Joe Randazzo and Chris Ulrich, have performed nationwide and at numerous festivals, bringing more than 25 years of combined comedy experience to the troupe. Razowsky is a Second City alum who studied, performed, taught, and directed alongside performers including Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell. He later served for nine years as artistic director of Second City Hollywood and now works as a full-time coach, teaching and directing in the United States and internationally.
