The 13-track album traces Joseph’s creative and personal growth. “Distant Man” looks back while confronting the present, “If Time Could Talk” explores the charged melancholy of lost connection and desire, and “Peace of Mind,” featuring Danny Brown, turns anxiety into a forceful, bass-driven anthem. “July,” recorded in Joseph’s hometown of Walsall with Jorja Smith, reflects on shared history, progress, and loss.
