Aga Zaryan

Aga Zaryan brings an intimate evening of sophisticated jazz to Blues Alley, performing original compositions from her acclaimed albums alongside cherished standards and songs that have shaped her artistic identity. The performance celebrates two milestones: the 25th anniversary of her debut album and her 50th birthday.

Zaryan will be joined by Polish pianist and composer Michał Tokaj, her longtime musical director and collaborator, along with an American rhythm section to be announced. Known for her effortless phrasing and warm, velvety vocal tone, Zaryan is an internationally acclaimed jazz singer and the first Polish artist to release albums on New York’s Blue Note Records. The program is presented as a rich blend of world-class jazz artistry and Slavic subtlety.
