Under the Surface; Where Contrast, Texture and Friction Meet (Exhibition)

An exhibition titled "Under the Surface; Where Contrast, Texture and Friction Meet" presents a curated selection of artworks that delve into the physical and conceptual interplay of surfaces, resistance, and unseen pressures. Based on an open call, the show brings together drawings, paintings, prints, collages, sculptures, ceramics, textiles, photographs, digital works, and mixed media that explore the theme of what lies beneath—materially, emotionally, or socially. Visitors can expect a diverse range of pieces that engage with contrast, texture, and friction as forces where beauty collides with discomfort and form is shaped by hidden forces.
