Token brings his rapid-fire hip-hop style to Union Stage, combining razor-sharp wordplay, dizzying verbal delivery, and unconventional hooks. His catalog includes “YouTube Rapper” featuring Tech N9ne, “Household Name,” and “Flamingo,” while his newest album, *I’m Leaving Soon*, is scheduled for release on July 24.

Raised north of Boston, Token began producing music in a style influenced by early Eminem. He broke through with “No Sucka MC’s” in 2015 and drew wider attention after a celebrated freestyle performance on Sway Calloway’s “Sway in the Morning.” His releases include the 2016 mixtape *Eraser Shavings*, *Between Somewhere* from 2018, and *Pink Is Better*, his 2022 major-label debut on Never Too Different and Atlantic Records. *Pink Is Better* featured JID, Rico Nasty, Benny The Butcher, and Lil Skies. Token has since headlined tours across North America and Europe, and his album *I’m Not Supposed To Be Here* won Album of the Year at the Boston Music Awards.
