Grooves in the Grove: Alisha Glover

Alisha Glover returns to The Wharf for a free summer concert as part of the Grooves in the Grove series. Blending jazz, funk, gospel, rock, R&B, and pop, her performance brings a vibrant mix of genres to the waterfront. Held in The Grove near bartaco, the evening offers a relaxed outdoor setting with limited bench seating and tables available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are welcome to bring food from any Wharf restaurant to enjoy during the show.

When: Thursday, August 20, 2026.

Showtimes: All concerts begin at 7:00 PM.

Tickets: Free admission; no ticket required.

Lineup: Alisha Glover (the August 20 performance is part of a multi-date summer lineup that also includes DeJay Sax, Sterling Anderson, and Tre4rmDC on other Thursdays).

Ages: All ages are welcome; the event is family-friendly. Leashed dogs are also permitted.

Venue: The Grove by bartaco at The Wharf (645 Wharf St SW Ste 835, Washington, DC 20024).

Food & Drink: You may bring in food from any Wharf restaurant; stageside dining is also available at bartaco.

Seating: Limited bench seating and tables and chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
