Griffin William Sherry and his band return to Washington, D.C., with a roots-oriented mix of folk, country, and rock ’n’ roll. Drawing on Sherry’s rural Maine background, the music is defined by emotionally direct, energetic songwriting. Jesse James DeConto of The Pinkerton Raid joins the bill, bringing a dreamy, Beatles-influenced folk sound shaped by his appreciation for Star Wars, Tolkien, and Laurel Canyon.
