Irish Dance Classes for Kids
Irish Dance Classes for Kids is a beginner-oriented, energetic class presented by Kate Spanos Irish Dance at the School of Musical Traditions. Children will explore traditional Irish step-dance footwork, lively group céilí dancing, and the improvisational sean nós style while developing coordination, confidence, creativity, and a feel for percussive rhythms.
The class is noncompetitive and takes place in a relaxed, supportive environment. Future performance opportunities will be available, and the program is intended to help children stay active, social, and inspired. It is generously co-sponsored by EducArte.
