Hooray for Hollywood!
Hooray for Hollywood! is a celebration of the Golden Age of Hollywood featuring vocalist Stephanie Dailey and accompanist/vocalist Tom Saputo. The evening kicks off with a reception featuring hors d’oeuvres and a full bar, followed by a performance of songs from the Great American Songbook, and concludes with a dessert reception where guests can meet the artists. Stephanie Dailey and Company specializes in lively, visually entertaining musical revues that include soaring vocals, live accompaniment, dancing, colorful costumes, group singalongs, and storytelling about the songs, musicals, and movies being highlighted. Tom Saputo, a versatile multi-instrumentalist and vocalist with over 50 years of experience, accompanies on piano and also sings.
When: Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Schedule: 6:00 PM Reception with hors d’oeuvres and full bar; 7:00 PM Performance; 8:00 PM Dessert Reception with the artists.
Tickets: ACW Members $55, Non-Members $65. Tickets are non-refundable, but a credit can be issued for cancellations made no less than 48 hours before the event. Registration is required; guests must be registered.
Lineup: Stephanie Dailey (vocalist and company leader) and Tom Saputo (accompanist and vocalist). Stephanie Dailey and Company has performed nearly 100 shows at more than 25 retirement homes in the DMV. Stephanie has performed at Jojo’s, Café Italia, Normandie Farms, Blues Alley, and Twins, and released the CD *Stephanie Dailey – On the Move*. Tom Saputo hosts a Monday open mic at JV’s Restaurant, has written and recorded hundreds of original songs, and has performed with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artists Joan Jett and Lloyd Price.
Run time: The performance portion is one hour (7:00–8:00 PM), with the full event lasting three hours including reception and dessert reception.
Ages: Open to the public; no age restriction specified.
