"Local Cream" Songwriter Showcase

“Local Cream” is a monthly songwriter showcase featuring local and regional original artists on the historic stage at Hank Dietle’s Tavern. Curated by DMV singer-songwriter Annette Wasilik, the series presents handpicked writers sharing their songs, stories, and creative process in an intimate, welcoming listening-room setting.

The showcase spans Americana, folk, country, blues, roots, and original music that resists easy categorization. It offers an opportunity to discover DMV-area songwriting talent, hear artists perform their own work, and support original music in a communal tavern setting.
