Rufus Wainwright performs with Hohnen Ford at The Birchmere Music Hall. The program reflects Wainwright’s broad career, from his GRAMMY-nominated 2020 album *Unfollow the Rules* to 2023’s *Folkocracy*, which revisited his family’s folk-music heritage through newly arranged duets with artists including Chaka Khan, Brandi Carlile, John Legend, and Anohni. His later work includes the West End musical adaptation of John Cassavetes’ *Opening Night* and *Dream Requiem*, a large-scale composition that premiered with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and featured Meryl Streep as narrator. Hohnen Ford joins him as the featured performer.
