Weird Phishes

Weird Phishes reimagines Radiohead’s moody alternative-rock catalog as energetic, danceable jam music. The band combines full-album performances, inventive mashups with Phish material, and extended funk-driven improvisation, creating a sound that goes beyond a conventional tribute act. Their evolving sets and high-energy musicianship have built a following throughout the Northeast.

The group emerged prominently in 2019, performing consecutive afterparties following Phish’s Fenway Park shows and later touring the Midwest. They were also the final band to perform at New England jam venue Nectar’s before the 2020 pandemic shutdown. After live music returned, Weird Phishes headlined the inaugural Safe and Soundz festival, appeared at Circus of Life Festival, and sold out a performance at Boston’s Aeronaut Cannery.
