Josie Edwards
Josie Edwards is a Nashville-based folk-pop singer-songwriter whose sharp storytelling and distinctive voice have helped her build an audience of more than 100 million streams. Originally from northern Indiana, Edwards formed her first band in high school before relocating to Nashville, where she studied songwriting at Belmont University.
Her breakout song “good girls” introduced listeners to her personal, unconventional songwriting style. She followed it with “The Poet and Her Vice (Happy Ending),” “Dog Prophecies,” and “Gravedigger,” then released the 2026 EP *Greetings From Bleak St.* Its standout track, “Chemical Light,” has brought renewed attention online. Influenced by Tom Odell, Twenty One Pilots, Noah Kahan, The Lumineers, and Bob Dylan, Edwards combines dark humor with memorable folk-pop melodies.
