Jai’Len Josey - The Serial Romantic Tour

Jai’Len Josey brings her Serial Romantic Tour to Songbyrd Music House for a genre-spanning performance rooted in R&B, hip-hop, old school Detroit House, and musical theater. Her music explores the highs, disappointments, and complications of romance through a vibrant and emotionally open sound.

A Platinum-selling singer-songwriter, musician, Broadway performer, poet, and creator, Josey first developed her distinctive musical delivery by miming instruments such as cello, bass, and flute while watching YouTube videos in high school. She later played Pearl in *The SpongeBob Musical: Live on Stage!* and built her solo career through the *Illustrations* EP and *SOUTHERN DELICACY* EP. She also co-wrote two songs on Ari Lennox’s *Age/Sex/Location*, including the platinum-certified “Pressure,” and toured as Lennox’s support act. Her debut full-length album, *Serial Romantic*, is released through Def Jam Recordings.
