Mixed Media Experimental Quilting
Mixed Media Experimental Quilting is a two-day workshop at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center that guides participants through the process of printing, stitching, and quilting to build multi-layered textile pieces. The first session focuses on creating printed fabrics using a variety of techniques, then the workshop moves into stitching and quilting methods to assemble those printed elements into finished works—either as traditional quilts or as mixed-media textile art. The class is designed to encourage experimentation with layers, texture, and composition.
When: Saturday, August 8, 2026 (and the following day, Sunday, August 9, 2026, for the second session).
