Konshens the MC

Konshens the MC presents *A Konshens State of Mind™: The Soundtrack of the Soul*, an immersive performance that brings together hip-hop, jazz, spoken word, poetry, storytelling, soul, classical music, and personal reflection. The program explores how memories, identity, purpose, resilience, love, and legacy shape the soundtrack of our lives, inviting audiences to listen beyond the music and reflect on their own experiences.

The performance is led by Tarik “Konshens The MC” Davis, whose work combines dynamic performance with cultural storytelling. Davis is a U.S. State Department Global Cultural Ambassador, United Nations Land Ambassador, Grammy Community Award recipient, Grammy Museum Teaching Artist, Kennedy Center Next 50 honoree, U.S. Presidential Service Award recipient, Fulbright alumnus, and the son of hip-hop pioneer Master Gee of The Sugarhill Gang.
