Featuring: Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra

Members of the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra present an intimate chamber-music program devoted to Antonín Dvořák. The evening follows the composer’s path from his Czech heritage to his years in the United States, emphasizing the folk-inflected melodies, warmth, and vivid musical storytelling found throughout his work.

The program includes Dvořák’s lyrical *Terzetto* for two violins and viola, the lively five-movement *Bagatelles*, and the celebrated “American” String Quartet, a work strongly associated with the composer’s time in the United States.
