A Christmas Carol
A Christmas Carol at Olney Theatre Center is a brand-new, one-person adaptation of Charles Dickens’s beloved holiday novella, giving Ebenezer Scrooge a refreshed look while keeping the original’s spirit of a singular storyteller. The solo performer brings the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come, along with Scrooge’s memories and future visions, vividly to life on the intimate stage of the Mulitz-Gudelsky Theatre Lab. Adapted and directed by Hallie Gordon, this production runs from late November through the end of December as part of the theater’s 2026–27 season.
