Brenda Portman celebrity recital

Brenda Portman, an award-winning organist and composer, presents a special recital celebrating the completion of St. Mary’s Lively-Fulcher organ and the church’s 100th anniversary. The program features works by Anna Amalia of Prussia, Rachel Laurin, Jennifer Higdon, and Portman herself.

Portman has received numerous organ and composition prizes in the United States and Europe. She also holds the S. Lewis Elmer Award for earning the highest combined score on the AAGO and FAGO diploma examinations.
