Eliot Lipp
Eliot Lipp brings a new, adventurous sound to Pearl Street, blending modern funk with vintage synthesizer nostalgia. His music combines loops, breaks, synths, and drum machines with cinematic arrangements, drawing inspiration from NYC walks, Paris café sessions, Czech jazz, and influential Mo’Wax, Warp, and early Ninja Tune releases. The result is a set of beats that remains recognizably Lipp while pushing his sound in a fresh direction.
Wax Future joins the bill. The duo of Connor Hansell and Keith Wadsworth combines hard-hitting drums, hip-hop and funk grooves, guitar, vocals, and an evolving collection of analog synthesizers and modular equipment. Their energetic live performances emphasize both storytelling and sound design. Wax Future has released music through Atlantic Records and Gravitas, had placements on VH1 and *The Daily Show with Trevor Noah*, and has toured with artists including Pretty Lights, Lotus, and Manic Focus.
