The O.B. Hardison Poetry Series Finale Reading with Natalie Diaz

The O.B. Hardison Poetry Series concludes its 2026–2027 season with a finale reading featuring Pulitzer Prize–winning Mojave American poet Natalie Diaz. Diaz, author of the acclaimed collections *Postcolonial Love Poem* and *When My Brother Was an Aztec*, is known for her dynamic, lyrical explorations of Indigenous identity, language, and desire. For this special evening, she will read from the work of poets who have influenced her as well as from her own celebrated body of work, offering audiences a deeply personal and curated look at her literary lineage. The event takes place at the Folger Theatre and is the final installment of the five-reading series, which also featured Cornelius Eady, Rebecca Lehmann, Matthew Shenoda, and the Anthony Hecht Poetry Prize winner.
