Dave Attell

Dave Attell returns to DC Improv for the club’s annual visit from the acclaimed stand-up comedian. Known for sharp joke writing and very adult humor, Attell will perform new material in a series of Thursday-through-Sunday shows.

Attell’s credits include hosting Comedy Central’s “Insomniac with Dave Attell,” the Netflix specials “Hot Cross Buns” and “Bumping Mics,” and appearances in “Life & Beth,” “Crashing,” “Trainwreck,” “I Feel Pretty,” “Pootie Tang,” “Funny People,” and numerous television comedies. He also created “Dave Attell’s Comedy Underground” and the Comedy Central special “Road Work,” and regularly performs at New York City’s Comedy Cellar.

Description: Attell is celebrated as an all-time-great comedy writer who built a devoted following by touring with his irreverent, adult-oriented stand-up. His profile grew further through the cult-favorite travel series “Insomniac,” while his ongoing television work and Netflix specials have introduced his comedy to larger audiences.
