Garden Tots | Busy Birds

Take a flight of fancy with your child during this imaginative Garden Tots session at Hillwood Estate. Children will discover how Hillwood’s gardens support and delight birds through make-believe, hands-on art-making, and playful exploration, then create a bird kite to take home.

Designed for young children and their accompanying adults, the class offers a new garden theme during each session. The Busy Birds program is limited to a small group, allowing children to explore and create together.

When: Friday, September 25, 2026

Showtimes: 10:00–11:00 a.m.

Tickets: $12 for a child ages 2–5 with an accompanying adult; $10 for a member’s child ages 2–5 with an accompanying adult

Ages: Children ages 2–5, each accompanied by an adult

Capacity: Limited to 15 children

Minimum enrollment: At least four children must be enrolled for the program to take place

Venue: Hillwood Estate Museum and Garden

Program schedule: Garden Tots takes place on select Fridays from March through June and September through November, with a different theme at each session. Other listed themes include “Let’s Move!,” “Patterns,” “Fall Fun!,” and “Winter’s on the Way.”
