Friday Open Drawing

Join the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop for Friday Open Drawing, an uninstructed life drawing session with a live model held on the first, third, and fourth Fridays of each month. The session runs from 6:30 to 9:30 PM in the upstairs Art Studio, where participants draw at their own pace in a relaxed, self-directed format. CHAW faculty member Will Fleishell will be on hand to facilitate the evening. Since this is an uninstructed session, artists are responsible for bringing their own drawing materials. Doors lock promptly at 6:30 PM, so arriving on time is essential to get settled before the session begins.

The cost is $15, payable in cash at the door or by phone before 6:00 PM on the day of the class. The class is not held on the second Friday of the month, so plan your visit for a Friday when Open Drawing is scheduled.

When: Friday, August 7, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Showtimes: One session, 6:30–9:30 PM; doors lock promptly at 6:30 PM.

Recurrence: Held on the first, third, and fourth Fridays of each month; not held on the second Friday.
