Taylor Tomlinson

Taylor Tomlinson appears at Sixth & I for a conversation with Rachel Martin about *Actually, Nevermind*, Tomlinson’s collection of personal essays. The book explores love, relationships, mental health and therapy, religion, sex, food and body image, ambition, identity, adulthood, and Tomlinson’s experiences as the eldest daughter and the only woman in late-night television.

Tomlinson also reflects on approaching age thirty-four, the age her mother was when she died, and considers grief, fear, self-doubt, independence, self-improvement, and the changing nature of her opinions. Known for her candid stand-up specials, she has been recognized by *The Hollywood Reporter*, *Forbes*, and *Time*. Martin is the co-creator and host of NPR’s “Wild Card,” an interview program focused on life’s biggest questions.

Tickets: In-person admission is sold out. Virtual admission is $12, or $40 for a virtual ticket bundled with a signed book. Additional fees apply, and the ticket price increases by $5 on the day before the event.
