EMEI - Night at the Opera Tour

Emei brings her colorful, theatrical alt-pop to Lincoln Theatre as part of the *Night at the Opera Tour*, with Madelline opening. Known for bold vocals, catchy anthems, and a candy-coated visual and musical world, Emei is a Chinese-American singer-songwriter who rose to prominence through viral releases including “Late to the Party,” “Scatterbrain,” and “Irresponsible.”

A New Jersey native and Yale-educated cognitive science graduate, Emei grew up immersed in Chinese pop and musical theater. She placed third on *Chinese Idol* at age 15 and later appeared on China’s *Dancing with the Stars*. Her music has earned recognition from Spotify, Billboard, People, BBC Radio 1, Triple J, and other outlets, while her songs have accumulated more than a quarter-billion streams. She has also sold out shows in Australia, the United States, and Europe and worked with producer Ricky Reed on her *Night At The Opera* EP.
