EMEI - Night at the Opera Tour

Emei brings her theatrical, candy-colored pop to the Night at the Opera Tour, with Madelline as support. Known for her powerful vocals, playful anthems, and dramatic presentation, Emei blends pop songwriting with the sensibility of a lifelong theater performer.

The New Jersey-born, Chinese-American artist grew up listening to Chinese pop and musicals, trained with vocal coach Sally Gu, and placed third on Chinese Idol at age 15 before appearing on China’s Dancing with the Stars. After earning a cognitive science degree from Yale, she began releasing music online. Her 2022 song “Late to the Party” gained momentum on TikTok and led to her End of an Era EP, while “Scatterbrain” and “Irresponsible” became major streaming successes. Her work has earned attention from Spotify, Billboard, People, BBC Radio 1, Triple J, and other music outlets. Following sold-out shows in Australia, the United States, and Europe, Emei brings her theatrical Night at the Opera material to this tour.
