John R. Miller brings his latest album *The Great Unknowing* to Songbyrd Music House on July 15, 2026, for a night of alt-country and Americana that draws from Appalachian tradition, punk energy, and unconventional rock influences. The album was recorded at Tulsa’s legendary Church Studio, where Miller worked with a live band of local musicians including Grammy-nominated John Fullbright, co-producing with longtime collaborator Adam Meisterhans. The result is a spacious, textured collection that expands on his critically praised earlier work, blending road-worn storytelling with fuzzy atmospheres and reflections on movement, memory, and change. Opening the show is the Eastern Kentucky–based duo Wayne Graham, known for their Appalachian-rooted indie rock and folk-rock sound.
