Everything Else Is Noise (Lo Demás Es Ruido)

Nicolás Pereda’s playful chamber comedy takes aim at avant-garde musicians, filmmakers, interview culture, and the male ego. Tere, an accomplished musician and composer whose career has been overshadowed by her male colleagues, agrees to host fellow composer Rosa before Rosa’s first television interview. The supposedly simple recording quickly descends into chaos when the crew arrives: a dog disrupts the shoot, the power fails, and Tere’s spirited musician daughter repeatedly intervenes. As the afternoon unfolds, the three women discover common ground while exposing the vanity and absurd posturing of their interviewers and the art world.
