Alfredo Mojica Group returns to Bossa Bistro & Lounge for another vibrant evening of Latin jazz, salsa, and Afro-Caribbean rhythms. Alfredo Mojica, a cornerstone of the DC salsa community, is a consummate percussionist and vocalist born in Central America. He began performing at a young age alongside legends such as Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colón, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, El Gran Combo, and Ray Barretto. At Bossa, he moves seamlessly between timbales, congas, and bongos while belting out salsa classics in his amorous, heart-jolting style. He is joined on stage by an ebullient and first-class roster of musicians, playing salsa, bachata, merengue, and more. The night is sure to have you breaking a sweat on the dance floor.
