Brian Lenair
Brian Lenair brings smooth jazz and soulful saxophone to Blues Alley. The Washington, DC musician has spent more than 25 years in the music industry, using his saxophone as an expressive extension of himself. A former frontman of the legendary group SPUR OF THE MOMENT, Lenair has also performed as a sideman with artists including Will Downing, Angela Winbush, and Jean Carne.
Now an independent recording artist, Lenair has earned recognition in the smooth-jazz world for his distinctive sound. His single “Ms. Jones” is slated for inclusion on an upcoming project. Beyond performing, he is active in youth mentoring and community programs, and describes his music as an expression of gratitude to God.
