KAZ / Land
KAZ / Land brings together two atmospheric ensembles for an evening of spacious, collaborative music. KAZ—Keith Butler Jr., Abe Mamet, and Zoë Jorgenson-Speirs—combines jazz, rock, improvisation, and folk influences into a gentle, richly textured sound centered on connection and calm.
Land features musicians connected across Virginia, Maine, Texas, and Pennsylvania, drawing on the intimacy of bedrooms, kitchens, streams, lakes, and other quiet places. Their songs emphasize harmony and stillness, with a lineup built around guitars, piano, viola, bass clarinet, and voice.
