Crafternoon: Decorating the Sukkah with Hill Havurah

Crafternoon: Decorating the Sukkah with Hill Havurah is a hands-on family craft workshop at the Capital Jewish Museum. Participants will create paper fruits, garlands, and chains while exploring the holiday through the Museum’s Judaica Education Collection. Finished decorations may be contributed to the Museum’s sukkah or taken home for use during the holiday.

Presented in partnership with Hill Havurah, the program is designed especially for children and young people ages 5–15. Youth under 13 must attend with an adult; accompanying adults are welcome to make their own sukkah decorations as well.

Ages: Best for ages 5–15. Guests under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
