Tea and Talk with the 17 DMV Artists of Flower Power Redux

Tea and Talk with the 17 DMV Artists of Flower Power Redux offers an intimate afternoon at Back End Studios where attendees can view the exhibition and hear directly from the participating artists about their creative processes, inspirations, and the story behind their selection for this group show. The informal gathering takes place in a relaxed home-based studio atmosphere, accompanied by a selection of teas and baked goods.

When: Sunday, October 26, 2026, from 3:00 PM.

Venue: Back End Studios, 4326 Chesapeake St. NW, Washington DC 20016 (street entrance).

Lineup: The seventeen DMV and Baltimore-based artists featured are Robert Allen (serigraphs on paper), Elizabeth Ashe (painting), Pat Goslee (painting), Kristofer Heng (collage/works on paper), Mary Higgins (drawing/works on paper), Myrtle Katzen (painting), Phyllis Kimmel (photography), Suzanne Koch (painting), Stephanie Lane (painting), Sydney Lawrence (prints), Jenee Mateer (photography), John Paradiso (sewn and mixed media), Alice Tangerini (drawing and watercolor), Claudia Vess (painting), Alice Whealin (painting), Jessica Williams (photography), and Warren Williams (photography), with Michèle Colburn (sculpture) also included.
