Bluegrass and BBQ

Bluegrass and BBQ brings an afternoon of live music, food, and family-friendly community activities to the Bender Jewish Community Center. Nefesh Mountain provides the bluegrass soundtrack, while Makom on a Roll offers Kosher BBQ for purchase. Guests can also enjoy local hard or sweet cider from Doc Waters Cidery, kids’ crafts, and the center’s climbing tower.

Tickets are required for entry, and the event will take place rain or shine. An adult admission includes one hard or soft cider; Kosher BBQ and climbing tower access cost extra.

When: October 11, 2026

Showtimes: 4:30–7:00 p.m.

Tickets: $25 per ticket. Children age 20 and under attend free with a paying adult.

Lineup: Live bluegrass by Nefesh Mountain.

Food and Drinks: Kosher BBQ will be available for purchase from Makom on a Roll. Doc Waters Cidery will offer local hard and sweet cider. Each adult ticket includes one hard or soft cider.

Activities: Kids’ crafts and a climbing tower are available. Additional fees apply for climbing tower access.

Ages: Children 20 and under are free with a paying adult.
