Alfredo Mojica Group

Alfredo Mojica Group brings a lively night of Latin music to Bossa Bistro & Lounge. Alfredo Mojica, a prominent figure in Washington’s salsa scene, is a Central American-born percussionist and vocalist whose career has included performances with artists and groups such as Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colón, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, El Gran Combo, and Ray Barretto.

Mojica moves between timbales, congas, and bongos while singing salsa standards, joined by a rotating group of accomplished musicians. The performance features salsa, bachata, merengue, and other dance-oriented styles, with plenty of energy for an evening on the dance floor.
