The Axelrod Quartet
The Axelrod String Quartet presents a program of three major Classical-era string quartets in Music Hall at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. The concert features Haydn’s Quartet in G Major, Op. 54, No. 1; Mozart’s Quartet in A Major, K. 464, known as “the Drum”; and Beethoven’s Quartet in A Major, Op. 18, No. 5.
