Death Envy (from Stanton, CA) — the Founding Father of Cringecore, playing cybergrind for real MySpace heads who know instruments are for chumps. jane. (Cynthia Dorothy-Jane Ryan) — uses tape, vocals, sex toys, found objects, live looping, and more to create music that challenges the presumption that femininity requires pacifism or submission, highlighting the fetishization of her own transsexuality in a clutter of self-acceptance and internalized disdain.
