Art-Play-Practice Open Play Hours invite visitors to explore an interactive installation at Phillips@THEARC. Inspired by the groundbreaking drape paintings of Washington, D.C., artist Sam Gilliam, the program encourages engagement with ideas of art, memory, and community.
The open-play session takes place ahead of “Power of Art & Memory,” a program featuring artist Nekisha Durrett in conversation with Dorothy Kosinski, Director Emerita of The Phillips Collection.
