Make+Take: Rainbow Words
Make+Take: Rainbow Words is a beginner-friendly letterpress workshop at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center. Participants will choose a word, learn basic typesetting with the center’s oldest wood type, and print a small edition of mini posters on the studio’s Vandercook presses. Each press will be inked with a different rainbow gradient, and the workshop concludes with a group press-cleaning session.
Led by graphic designer and letterpress artist Hannah Wang, the class is designed for people with no prior experience. Registration includes all materials, and participants are encouraged to bring a favorite word or two as inspiration for their prints.
